Although located in an area that does not typically or automatically come to mind, Aetas Seputeh made it to this list of ours as we liked its premium offerings and the attention to detail in the interior design that offers not just aesthetic value but functional ones too. Firstly, the expansive living spaces with open and seamless living and dining areas that maximise ventilation and natural light, creating an ambience that’s comfortable and healthy.
The seamless transition between spaces extends outdoors to the balcony with the balcony floor flushed to the living room’s, making the transition from indoor to outdoor spaces a seamless and visually elegant one. While beautiful, it did raise a concern initially–that water from the balcony could enter the living room during heavy downpours or when washing the balcony floor.
Our concern was put to rest when we learned about the smart water drainage. We were pleased to discover that in addition to standard drainage holes, excessive water is also drained via gaps between the tiles in the area closest to the living room glass doors into a drain that runs beneath the floor. Another preventative feature is the motorised outdoor blinds that are installed in the balcony area to prevent excessive water from entering the balcony during heavy downpours as well as shield occupants from UV rays on extra sunny days.
Another thoughtful feature we like is the installation of anti-slip tiles in the bathrooms. This is definitely a plus point, considering that fatal and non-fatal injuries caused by slips are more common than we might think. According to the World Health Organisation, falls are the leading cause of unintentional injury deaths worldwide, with an estimated 684 000 deaths resulting from falls globally (reference: https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/falls).
A few more features we would like to mention here are the dedicated private lift lobby for each unit, the provision of individual EV charging points for each unit and the fact that the project is Platinum Green RE-certified, which means that the project was built in a sustainable way to benefit the community. Last but not least, if you are a feng shui enthusiast, you would be pleased to know that this development is endorsed by a popular local feng shui expert.
